TUE, 5-10-10 : REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATES

I don't particularly love peanut butter sandwiches ... not as much as my Hubby (who co-incidentally do not like Reese's). But I can tell you that I just loooove Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolates ... of any kind (isn't that ironic?!).

I first got a taste of it recently  when I chanced upon them in nearby Johor Bahru. So far I have found a limited variety in 2 supermarkets there. These Reese's are those candy bars or small packs, not the gigantic family sizes that you might see in the USA.

I have to say I am rather addicted to Reese's now ... haha! In Singapore finding them is like looking for a good man. Not easy! Almost non-existent! But alas, I managed to find them (again in small packs) in Meidi-ya, the Japanese supermarket in Liang Court. I am always on the look out to buy them in Singapore. I know that we have a Hershey's store in Sentosa now ... I wonder if they have Reese's there too? (Reese is under the Hershey Group).

Meanwhile, if anyone I know is going overseas and asks if I want to get anything special (errm ... yes!), I will not hesitate to ask if they will look out for those Reese's nuggets for me. (haha! ... I know, I know ... no shame right?)

Lately, I have been very lucky indeed! Two of my friends went for a trip. Jessie went to the USA & Saro went to Dubai. They were very nice to get for me the Reese chocolates while they were on vacation there. 

See what good friends I have! Ain't I a lucky girl?

The smaller pack is from the US, the family packs are from Dubai.

I will be enjoying these very very slowly .... so that they will last awhile. I never know ... when I will be able to procure them in the future.
